Afternoon Delights - General Hospi-Tale General Hospi-Tale
Pop Used - 12 13955 MCA
1981 Two Track Heavy Vinyl 12" Single In Die Cut Sleeve. Features Vocal And Instrumental Versions Of The Title Track. “In February Of 1981, Blondie Hit The Top Of The Charts With Her Song "Rapture," And Seven Months Later Producer Harry King Would Hit The Top 30 By Utilizing That Same Beat And Writing A Song With Local Disc Jockey Lisa Lipps From Radio Station Kiss 108 FM, Medford/Boston. Was Tracked At Pat Costa's Eastern Sound Studios In Methuen, MA, Where Producer Jimmy Miller Would Work With Thrust In 1986, But The Cast On This Recording Has Few Notables From Boston's Regional Scene Save King And Lipps. The Dance Station Was Another World From The Underground Rock Scene, But The Attention Garnered By This Single Certainly Got The Project Noticed.” - Joe Viglione, AMG... more details
