Rare 1972 Private Label Original Out Of Austin, Texas Featuring An Unusual Mixture Of Folksy, Swinging Pop Songs Tinged With Country Infuences And Superb Guitar Solos Heavily Influenced By Django Reinhardt. Lyle Lovett Was One Of The Many Young Texas College Kids That Were Fans Of The Group In Its Hungry Days. Lovett Later Opened For The Band At The Start Of His Career And A Decade Later He Turned The Tables By Having Them Open For Him On His National Tour, Before They Disbanded In 1983. They Got Back Together To Sing Back-Up On Lovett's 1989 Grammy Winning Album. Walter Hyatt Went On To Make A Solo Album Produced By Lovett Before Being Killed In The Valu-Jet Plane Crash In The Florida Everglades, 1997. Both Record And Jacket Are Near Mint.... more details |
