A Fistful Of Alice
New - LP - FRM 33080
Sealed 2010 180gm 2LP Gatefold Original. “Alice Cooper Never Considered His First Live Album, 1977's The Alice Cooper Show, To Be An Adequate Representation Of His Capabilities As An Entertainer, Which Is One Of The Reasons He Invested So Much Energy In The 1997 Live Album Fistful Of Alice. Cooper Envisioned The Record As A Blowout, Not Only Showcasing His Stage Show, But Also Featuring Cameos From Such Superstars As Slash, Sammy Hagar, And Rob Zombie. While His Abilities As A Performer And Vocalist Had Declined Somewhat By 1997, Fistful Of Alice Is Remarkably Potent, Capturing Cooper In Good Form. It Didn't Matter That His Notoriously Bloody Stage Show Had Faded Away In The 20 Years Between The Two Live Records, Since The Album Relies On The Music, Not The Visuals. And This Time Out, The Music Is Much Better -- It's Tighter And Harder, And Cooper's Vocals Are Better Than Those On Show, Where He Suffered From Too Much Substance Abuse. Fans Of Cooper's Classic Period Will Miss The Billion Dollar Babies Band, But Hardcore Fans Will Find The Album To Be An Unexpected Delight.” – Stephen Thomas, Erlewine, AMG

Alice Cooper Goes To Hell
New - LP - BS 2896
Sealed 1976 US Pressing; Exact Info Unknown. “Following The Success Of His First Solo Album, Welcome To My Nightmare, Alice Cooper Followed It Up With Another Concept Album, Goes To Hell, Similar In Style To Its Predecessor. Again, Longtime Alice Producer Bob Ezrin Was On Board, And While There Are A Few Highlights, Goes To Hell Signaled An Alice Era Where He Pretty Much Forsook The Raw Garage Rock Of His Early Days (Killer, School's Out) In Favor Of Polished Studio Glitz. That Said, The Title Track Is Worthy Of Any Headbanger's Time (And Remains One Of Cooper's Most Overlooked Rock Tunes), While "I Never Cry" Was Another Alice Ballad That Found A Place Near The Top Of The Charts. Other Highlights Include Such Tracks As The Disco-Rock-Boogie Of "You Gotta Dance" And The Laid-Back Yet Sinister Funk Groove Of "I'm The Coolest." Elsewhere, The Musical Experiments Aren't As Successful -- The Old-Time Sounds Of "Give The Kid A Break," "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows," And The Album-Closing "Going Home" Are About As Far Removed From The Expected Hard-Rocking AC Direction As You Can Get. And While The Rocker "Wish You Were Here" Would Become A Late-'70s Concert Standard For The Coop, The Original Studio Version Lacks The Firepower The Song Achieved On The Stage. Alice Was Supposed To Follow Up The Album's Release With Another Highly Theatrical Stage Show (Following The Cue Of His First Solo Tour In 1975), But An Illness Squashed The Tour Altogether. Despite Its Missteps, The Gold-Certified Goes To Hell Would Prove To Be Alice's Most Commercially Successful Solo Album For Quite Some Time.” All Music Guide - Greg Prato.

Alice Cooper Goes To Hell
New - LP - BS 2896
Sealed 1983 Reissue, Barcode on rear cover. Saw cut. "Following the success of his first solo album, Welcome to My Nightmare, Alice Cooper followed it up with another concept album, Goes to Hell, similar in style to its predecessor. Despite its missteps, the gold-certified Goes to Hell would prove to be Alice's most commercially successful solo album for quite some time." Al Music Guide - Greg Prato.

Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits
Used - LP - BSK 3107
1982 Reissue, On Cream WB Shields Label. Excellent Copy. "With The Future Of The Original Alice Cooper Band In Doubt By Mid-1974 (They Would Soon Break Up For Good With Alice Going Solo), Warner Bros. Decided To Issue A Best-Of Compilation Entitled Greatest Hits. If You're A Newcomer To Alice, This 12-Track Compilation Is A Must-Hear -- All The Selections Are Exceptional. While Many Have Chosen To Focus Primarily On Cooper's Theatrics Over The Years, The Original Band Members Were Indeed Supreme Rock Songwriters; Such Anthems As "I'm Eighteen," "Under My Wheels," "School's Out," And "No More Mr. Nice Guy" Are Unquestionably Among The Finest Hard Rock Tracks Of All Time. And The Other Selections Prove To Be Just As Strong -- "Is It My Body," "Desperado," "Be My Lover," "Elected," "Billion Dollar Babies," And "Muscle Of Love" Are All Outstanding As Well. The Only Criticism Of The Original Release Is That The Collection Overlooked The Band's Key Album Tracks Never Issued As Singles." AMG Review By Greg Prato.

Billion Dollar Babies
Used - LP - BS 2685
Rare 1973 Green Label, Embossed, Die-Cut Gatefold Original With Custom Die-Cut Inner Sleeve, Giant Billion Dollar Bill Insert Still Intact And All Ten Perforated Cards Still In Place. Very Light Edge Wear. "With Billion Dollar Babies, Alice Cooper Refined The Raw Grit Of Their Earlier Work In Favor Of A Slightly More Polished Sound (Courtesy Of Super-Producer Bob Ezrin), Resulting In A Mega-Hit Album That Reached The Top Of The U.S. Album Charts. Song For Song, Billion Dollar Babies Is Probably The Original Alice Cooper Group's Finest And Strongest. Such Tracks As "Hello Hooray," The Lethal Stomp Of The Title Track, The Defiant "Elected" (A Rewrite Of An Earlier Song, "Reflected"), And The Poison-Laced Pop Candy Of "No More Mr. Nice Guy" Remain Among Cooper's Greatest Achievements. Also Included Are A Pair Of Perennial Concert Standards -- The Disturbing Necrophilia Ditty "I Love The Dead" And The Chilling Macabre Of "Sick Things" -- As Well As Such Strong, Lesser-Known Selections As "Raped And Freezin'," "Unfinished Sweet," And Perhaps Cooper's Most Overlooked Gem, "Generation Landslide." Nothing Seemed Like It Could Stop This Great Hard Rock Band From Overtaking The Universe, But Tensions Between The Members Behind The Scenes Would Force The Stellar Original Ac Band To Split Up After Just One More Album. Not Only Is Billion Dollar Babies One Of Cooper's Very Best; It Remains One Of Rock's All-Time, Quintessential Classics." AMG Review By Greg Prato.

1983 US Allied Pressing, Beautiful NM Vinyl. VG++ Jacket, Gold Promo Stamp On The Scary Skull Front Cover. Mastered At Sterling Sound. “This Album Was Very Disappointing From A Sales Point Of View, And That Is Certainly A Shame. As Alice Cooper Albums Go, This One Is Really Far Above Average. It Seems To Be One Of His Albums That Tried To Merge The Older, Creepy Style With A Newer, More Alternative Style. From The Spooky Opening Tones Of The Title Track, That Horror Movie Chic That Cooper Did So Well Is Quite Apparent. Other Tracks, Such As "Former Lee Warmer," Also Do Well At Capturing That Sort Of A Mood. Still, There Are Lighter-Hearted, More Alternative Rock-Type Pieces Such As "Scarlet And Sheba" And "Enough's Enough." One The Humorous Side, Cooper Gives "I Love America" And "Dyslexia." The Lyrical Pun To The Latter Cut Is Absolutely Priceless. This Album Is A Rather Varied Release, Showcasing Several Sides Of Cooper's Musical Tastes, But It Is All Very Entertaining. If You Missed It When It First Came Around, Do Yourself A Favor And Give It A Try Now.” AMG - Gary Hill.

From The Inside
Used - LP - BSK 3263
1978 Die-Cut cover original, Saw cut. Foldout cover has working school doors. Includes the custom inner sleeve with a great photo of Alice running down corridor. Appears unplayed. Alice Cooper's "From The Inside," released in 1978, is a concept album that delves into the personal experiences and tumultuous journey of Cooper himself through the lens of his stay in a sanitarium. Renowned music critic Robert Christgau might observe how Cooper deftly navigates the thematic intricacies of mental health and personal redemption, marrying his quintessential shock rock persona with deeply introspective narratives. The album's sonic landscape is a blend of theatrical rock, featuring a polished production that includes contributions from notable collaborators like Bernie Taupin, who co-wrote the lyrics, adding a layer of lyrical sophistication. Each track tells a story, painting vivid portraits of the characters Cooper encountered during his institutional stay, thus creating a compelling tapestry of sound and storytelling.
Musically, "From The Inside" is a departure from Cooper's earlier, rawer sound, leaning into a more sophisticated rock style that still retains his signature edge. Critics might note the album's tight production and the way it draws listeners into the claustrophobic and surreal world Cooper portrays. Tracks such as "How You Gonna See Me Now" showcase a surprisingly tender side, highlighting his ability to convey vulnerability amidst his usual theatricality. The album's combination of introspective themes and rock theatrics marks a significant chapter in Cooper's discography, demonstrating his versatility and willingness to evolve his sound while maintaining the shock factor that defined his earlier work.

Killer
New - LP - BS 2567
Factory Sealed 1971 Original. Gatefold Cover With Calendar Still Attached. “Alice Cooper Wasted Little Time Following Up The Breakthrough Success Of Love It To Death With Another Album Released The Same Year, Killer. Again, Producer Bob Ezrin Was On Board And Helps The Group Solidify Their Heavy Rock (Yet Wide-Ranging) Style Even Further. The Band's Stage Show Dealt With The Macabre, And Such Disturbing Tracks As "Dead Babies" And The Title Track Fit In Perfectly. Other Songs Were Even More Exceptional, Such As The Perennial Barnstorming Concert Standard "Under My Wheels," The Melodic Yet Gritty "Be My Lover," And The Tribute To Their Fallen Friend Jim Morrison, "Desperado." The Long And Winding "Halo Of Flies" Correctly Hinted That The Band Would Be Tackling More Complex Song Structures On Future Albums, While "You Drive Me Nervous" And "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" Showed That Alice Cooper Hadn't Completely Abandoned Their Early Garage Rock Direction. With Killer, They Became One Of The World's Top Rock Bands And Concert Attractions; It Rewarded Them As Being Among The Most Notorious And Misunderstood Entertainers, Thoroughly Despised By Grownups.” Greg Parto, AMG. With Killer, They Became One Of The World's Top Rock Bands And Concert Attractions; It Rewarded Them As Being Among The Most Notorious And Misunderstood Entertainers, Thoroughly Despised By Grownups." AMG Review By Greg Prato.

Trash
Used - LP - OE 45137
1989 Original with promo stamp on back cover and inner sleeve. Alice Cooper's "Trash" is a bold and brazen album that pushes the boundaries of rock and roll. From the opening track, "Poison," Cooper's gravelly vocals grab hold of the listener and refuse to let go. The album features a mix of hard rock and power ballads, with each song showcasing Cooper's versatility as a musician and songwriter. One standout track is "Bed of Nails," a hard-charging anthem that perfectly captures the rebellious spirit of rock and roll. The song's driving guitar riffs and pounding drums create a sense of urgency that is impossible to ignore. Throughout the album, Cooper's lyrics are sharp and witty, tackling themes of love, sex, and rebellion with a sly sense of humor. The album's title track, "Trash," is a perfect example of this, with its infectious chorus and playful lyrics about living life on the edge.
