Dane Rudhyar / Kronos Quartet

Vinyl Records and Rare LPs:

Advent / Crisis And Overcoming
Sealed - Vinyl - CRI SD 418
Sealed 1979 US original. Pristine copy! A rare and deeply evocative meeting between visionary modernist Dane Rudhyar and the pioneering Kronos Quartet. Advent and Crisis and Overcoming trace Rudhyar’s spiritual and harmonic explorations, expressed through Kronos’ penetrating ensemble precision and sculpted tone. The result is music at once inward-seeking and boldly declarative — ritualistic, luminous, and charged with transformative energy. An essential document for collectors of contemporary composition and Kronos’ most adventurous work. more
